David Hill “Block 23” Old Vine Cuvée 2020Regular price $32.00
Mostly Pearl of Csaba (an aromatic Hungarian variety) with about 19% Muscat Ottonel and 20% Mueller Thurgau, fermented in stainless steel. This is a heady, fragrant, slightly-spritzy, salty-sour quaff. The generously floral nose belies it's bone-dryness. Excellent for aperitif hour or paired with spice!
David Hill Vineyards & Winery is a third generation farm in the Tualatin Hills AVA, Oregon. Milan Stoyanov and his wife Jean purchased the property in 1992 and between 1995 and 2004, planted 20 additional acres of Pinot Noir, Chardonnay and Pinot Gris and restored the farmhouse and gardens to the landmark they are today. In 2019 beloved Oregon winemaker Chad Stock joined the David Hill team to pursue producing the finest possible wines from some of the oldest vines in the Willamette Valley.
